I love traveling. Recently I've enjoyed visiting more exotic countries that offer amazing cultural discoveries at relatively low prices. My latest destination was Morocco, a country with friendly, peaceful people, stunning colors and an all around beautiful cultural expression. I do recommend visiting in the winter; cool temperatures, not so crowded, no such strong smells specially visiting places like the leather tannery ;-)
The last city I visited was Marrakesh. There, one of the most fascinating visits was to Jardin Majorelle, a garden cultivated by French artist Jacques Majorelle since the 1920's. After he died in a car crash, the garden began to fall into disrepair, until Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé bought it in 1980.
Besides the exotic plants and shocking colors, including the cobalt blue - which I always knew as Klein Blue - there is a gallery that contains the posters Yves Saint Laurent would make and send to his friends and clients as New Year's Greetings. All of them simply have the word LOVE.
