Dinner with friends

March 10, 2013

So I started a blog. And I wanted to tell people about it. The most usual way of doing that would be by maybe sending an email, or inviting folks to like the blog's Facebook page. But that formula didn't seem to make sense in this case. Not for a blog that wants to talk about love.

So what I did was invite a few of my closest friends - my direct circle of love, if you will - for a small dinner in a  restaurant in São Paulo. Feed Food, a pleasant comfort food restaurant, is located inside a store/art gallery place, and is run by two chefs who also happen to be a couple - Adriana and Vitor. Each person who arrived found over their placemats a printed post of the blog, and so I told the little groups that arrived why I had called them over for the dinner. It was a great night and everyone's response to the blog's proposal was really sweet.

But, since I can't invite everyone I know to dinner, after telling these close friends I then sent emails and invited people to like the blog's Facebook page ;-)
