Love is all

This is a blog about love.

Not necessarily just about romantic love, or familial love or the type of love you have for a friend. This blog is about looking at love as symbol of a society that begins to rescue and value affections, emotions, creativity, subjectivity, intuition, imperfection and chance. It's about all manifestations of love that seek to bring back the feeling of connection, of meaning in our lives, of being part of a community, of needing one another.

Love may be described as "compassionate and affectionate actions towards other humans, one's self or animals"(1). Charles Eisenstein defines love as "the felt experience of connection to another being. An economist says 'more for you is less for me.' But the lover knows that more for you is more for me too. If you love somebody their happiness is your happiness. Their pain is your pain. Your sense of self expands to include other beings."

This blog is about signs of love all over the world.
And since I can't be everywhere in the world, if you see a manifestation of love, I'd be very happy if you would share it with me. Let's spread the love together ;-)
